Anybody know how to post on instagram through a computer?

I’ve tried putting it in the mobile mode, but it still doesn’t work.... any ideas?

First off, why not use your phone?


To answer your question though, there's a couple options:

1. Use VirtualBox to create an Android emulator then run IG through that. It's a bit tougher to set up but better in the long run.

2. Use BlueStacks (it's kind of shit, at least when I used it 5 years ago, but maybe it's better now) and download Instagram.

Open up chrome. Go to developer mode in the menu. Choose the phone emulator along the top. Post to instagram

Bc Instagram was made for photos taken on phones. It was never supposed to be an app for serious photography

I don’t want it on my phone cause i don’t want to miss out on life with my eyes glued to the phone, tried it before, but I have zero self control haha

Okay let me elaborate, I deleted my insta last year cause I was essentially addicted. I was missing out on a lot of the little things in life because of it. But the only way I can get sponsors is through social media so it’s kinda essential if I want to pursue a career in skiing. SoOo because I don’t want to get addicted to my phone again I swore to myself that I wouldn’t put it back on my phone... the end.

Fuck sponsors and social media. Do you really want to have to whore stuff out for brands on your social media? Sounds like a great way to sap all the fun out of skiing AND social media in one swoop

Whore stuff out? Lol I’m not a porn star geez....
It’s all on how you look at it:) But if I can get sponsors and ski full time, I’ll be pretty chill with that 😙

I guess my point is the level of sponsorship that would allow you to ski full time is pretty rare. Only x games level athletes and such get that level of support as far as I’m aware. Most sponsorships are much more trivial and consist of them expecting you to promote their stuff on social media as much as possible. This is why you see a ton of posts by pros of varying levels promoting stuff like energy drinks and other things that are entirely unrelated to skiing. Your social media will turn into a feed of posts you otherwise never would have made. That’s what I mean by “whoring their stuff out”.

You can tell there are some skiers on insta who have been playing this game for too long. It’s almost like they have no personality left on social media. They’re just mouthpieces for brands

except its not possible to do that anymore, it must be great to just copy and paste advice you found on the internet without trying it
