Way late to the party on this one but this New Zealand guy seriously wtf. Live streamed this shit. I'm not going to go into any more detail but I'm seriously disturbed.

Yeah I apologize there's a few of these threads on guns but I'm gonna bring it up again. I'm all for guns and allowing law abiding Americans to own anything below a class 3 firearm. But on the other hand there's crazy fucks like this and internet trolls who idolize these inbreds. NZ didn't even waste time and banned all semi auto rifles. Will that prevent it? Idk. I don't think anyone has the answers. Is there a truly logical process to preventing these sorts of things other than bans?

Imo banning shit will do nothing but make the pot of the insane human society we have boil over in a different way/time . We gotta improve communication between people . We gotta teach better things from earlier ages . That's the only logic left I think really , we have to make sure people understand life . There's so much information out there...and yet people get so little of it .. I don't get why so many people don't ask what makes the shooter(s) wanna do that or why they thought it was a good idea , and ask about the guns instead. That's like asking a mentally Ill kid who cut themselves why the blade was so sharp and out in their kitchen rather than trying to understand what drove them there .. so yeah that's my rant . I think we gotta change education , everywhere

The problem in this instance is religion.

It is really hard for people to differentiate ideas and the people that spread the ideas. This is just another messenger taking things to the extreme.

It seems impossible to change a religion. There are no conversations that will work. Its a book that wont change. So people try to destroy other people because they can't kill the idea. Instead of fixing the problems that the religion has.

These problems with religion are not being addressed and its spilling out. It is especially easy to see now that we can actually live without any form of religion without getting burnt at a stake. Inb4 #nuntoo does damage to the catholic church
