Replying to Poles
Up until a few days ago I've always thought skiers without poles looked daft af. However, I went to Calgary Olympic Park a couple of days ago and accidently forgot mine, so I rode the park for a day without them. And I gotta say, I've been turned. Everything just felt soooo much cleaner, and just more fun in general. I can hold my grabs for so much longer now.
I'm never gonna try and go full 'new wave/bunch' waving my arms around style but I'm definitely dropping the poles from now on. Anyone else have a similar or even opposite experience?
EDIT - 100% only park laps. Anywhere else on the mountain I pick them straight back up.
