iggyskierWe detune our skis how we recommend they be skied at the factory. Everything comes with a 1x1 ceramic edge tune - then we do a heavier detune from tip to contact points, then a gummi between contact points.
Most brands are sending their skis out with basically no detune - hence why our edges feel not sharp by comparison. This is how we find they ski best.
-eREKTion-Is there any chance you will release a tutorial video on your park detune? I'd love to be able to put badass detunes on park skis that come through my shop. I see a lot of cracked edges in Mammoth but the homies on Magnus' don't really deal with those issues.
freeskibum82watch the 5hr video from our very own Dominator Jacques that i posted right above you.
-eREKTion-I've skimmed it before but my crippling ADD won out. I'll have to give it another go.
Foxtrotx1Question for you guys. Is the notch mark/ short dash on the Kartels the boot center point? or sole center? Trying to figure out what to tell the tech.
