In previous treads I asked for something that is very similar to K2 pettitor. I was suggested to try k2 shredittor and marksman. I tried and didn't like them. To sloppy on speed and hard snow. I liked shreditor more than marksman, but still to soft for me. I decided that I need to go for different skis.

Looking for a daily driver for Europe Alps, Carpathian Mountains and Caucasus.
All mountain skiing almost in any conditions except a waist deep pow. Some park laps and occasional backcountry. Looking to mount skis with binding freedom inserts for salomon shift (for days when I travel only with one pair and conditions are not for wider skis and I could have some ski tour laps) and salomon STH2 13 (as a main binding). I'm 178cm, 60±2kg without backpack. Ski ability - somewhere in the middle between advanced to expert for skiing, but beginner in park.
For pure touring and pow skiing I have skis designed especially for those applications.
Currently my main skis are Zag SLAP 104. Good skis. But they have thin, edges -7 mount point, that is good for touring and general all mountain, but not good for park.

So I'm looking rn on
Armada ARV 96 184 2019 or 2020 model. could get a good deal on them. On paper they have not enough rocker for occasional not so deep pow.
Volkl Revolt 95 181 - can get veeeery good deal on them.
On3p Kartel 96 181 - the most expensive in list + expensive shipping, but I could give it a try. on paper the best option for my needs. But I hven't seen any reviews of 96 model yet
K2 poacher 184 or even 177 (as they are actually bigger than stated according to roofbox review) - On paper second best for all mountain
Atomic BC 100 180 - seems like good skis on paper. But I'm afraid of such lightweight skis

I'm going to mount them somewhere between -1.5...-3
Unfortunately I cannot try anything except hand flexing arv 96 in store. what can you recommend? thanx in advance.

I have 181 96's.

Have gotten probably 25 days on them this season. Mounted at recommended. Skis kill it. Used them in Tahoe during a 7 foot storm over three days. While they arent as good as a dedicated pow ski. They were surprising holding their own. Used them at bear in some icy then slushy park conditions and they were great.

These things are especially nice in like 2-5" of fresh ripping all over the mountain.

Durability is insane. I'm learning park and have bashed these things into some rails pretty well and have no cracks. A slight ding or two but I'm truly amazed.

Personally I wish I'd gotten the k108 but still... I'd get them if I were you.

K108 in a 181 would be a good choice for you. There’s a pair for sale in the bsl threads. Why put inserts for a shift and an sth? Just mount the shifts

I went K108 with shifts for pretty much the uses you’re describing but less park and no plans to hit rails on them. They’re pretty great. Maybe a bit more ski than I need just playing around when it hasn’t snowed in a couple weeks, but either way I reach for them pretty much every day I head up. Probably depends how much snow your mountains get but I’d have those on your list. If you get less snow the K96 sounds pretty ideal.

Can’t speak to the skis on your list though so take that for what it’s worth.

I do think the moment PBJ is a good contender. Love riding my brothers for a few laps when he allows.

Thanx for your suggestions
1. I don’t want to destroy shift bindings in park. It’s cheaper to go with inserts and choose bindings according to intended use before hitting the slopes
2. Kartel 108 would overlap to much with my current killer. I already have skis with 116 waist and 104 waist.
3. I’m afraid 108 would be to much in park to progress for me. That’s why I’m looking in range 95-102 waist (magnus 102 is also a contender, forgot to add them in poll)
4. I just checked moment site and there aren’t skis in my size left unfourtunatelly.

might want to take a look at some skis like the Devastator (105-108 in some sizes underfoot I think); Before my Kartel 108s, those were my go-to everyday ski that held up in every condition

I was at a faction demo today, and I tested the 2020, talking to the company rep and the owner, they told me that they've changed the core and now the ski is much more durable

Swear they say that everytime they update a ski and they still fall apart like costumes at party city.

The CT 3.0 is getting a whole new makeover. We are moving production to a new factory partner (in Austria), I will be 112 underfoot, and a re-tooled shape :)

You can find this comment in gear thread 2019/2020. Local ski shop owner who attended ISPO said the same about 3.0

What does everyone think about Icelantic Nomad 95 in 181? and how stiffer/softre they are compared to kartel 96 or k2 poacher?
