04-05 Scratch BC's vs 03 Pistols

What up everyone, had a question about getting some new skis. Im riding the 02-03 Line Skogen Sprang's, but im lookin for some longer skis that are more stable. Im thinkin about the 179 pistols or 182 Scratch's. I ride probably 20% park and the rest a comination of steep tree runs and powder. Im 6' about 165, just wondering what you guys thought was a better fit for me??

ya that what im thinkin, the only thing im concerned about is the width of the pistols underfoot, but im sure i would get used to them.

Well I don't know about Pistols as much, but BCs are super agile in the trees and rock in the pow

ya that what im thinkin, the only thing im concerned about is the width of the pistols underfoot, but im sure i would get used to them.

ur the exact same build as me and I ride the BC's. The BC's are great ski. They are pretty flexible too so they're decent everywhere.

thanks for the comments guys, im leaning toward the BC's right now. One more question tho, ive got some Look P10's that im probably going to mount on the BC's if i get them, will they work even tho its not a wide brake binding?

^How would the pistol not compare... the only real difference is in the dimensions. Some people would be better off with a 95mm waist than a 108. Anyways, I think the BCs are more versatile, but the pistols are better pow skis... that's just my experience.
