Girls like it when you try to change them, especially when the thing that you're changing doesn't affect you. Try giving her an ultimatum. If that doesn't work, just stalk her until she gives in out of fear

Why do you care this much? Haven't you ever watched a teen romcom, all the girls go for the guys who don't care that much never the guy that's sweet and pays too much attention to what shit they strap to their feet to slide on snow covered hills.

I was in the same boat but other way, she went from being a good snowboarder to skiing. It was fun being with her watching her get better and encouraging progress helped our relationship. Ended up not going anywhere for other reasons tho. Good luck!
