Full Tilt Vs. Dalbello Vs. Every Other Ski Boot

I got the 2017 Edollo boot in a 27.5, earlier this season I was rocking this years dropkick but I got new skis and they were mounted for 27.5 so me and my buddy traded and I liked the smaller boot. 28.5 was hard for me to butter and on the 27.5 was easier, now I fit in the boot just fine and I find myself having to buckle my boot as much as I can to really butter and my heel still feels like its popping out. I have a very wide and flat foot but is it because of the #6 flex tongue or something else? I've been looking at other boots such as Dalbello, Nordica ETC.. What will help me fix this?

My dad has the krypton cross and he loves his boots, but I have never personally had dalbello boots. Really it all comes down to finding a boot that fits

Hate to beat a dead horse but did you get fitted for the edollos? The DKs and dollos are different boots fit wise so if the DKs fit better then it sounds like you just weren’t measured too well by the bootfitter (if you used one). Easiest advice is just go to a bootfitter, explain your situation and see what can be done. Could be that with a new footbed or a bit of work they can make your current boots a lot more snug and save you some coin

The boots "fit" they "ski fine" I just dont have that stability to butter, I was gonna try the full tilt pro liner for the j-bar peice but I jut want a boot that won't give me shin bang and that will hold me in. I've realized after maybe 5 FT boots fuck look and style i just want a boot that performs

No I didn't the dollos were used by a buddy and I didnt bother, they really do fit and feel fine but my ankle wont stay down, I have friends who can hold a nose manual forever and when I try my heel feels like Im about to fall out of my boot even tho their dumb tight

Well, this actually means they don't fit you. If you have to crank them down super tight but your ankle won't stay in place, then they don't properly fit you and are the wrong boot for you.

Got to a boot-fitter, have them assess your foot shape and then find the right boot shape for your foot. Don't focus on the brand, focus on the right match for your foot shape. When you do that, your problem will be solved. When you focus on brands, you're doing it wrong.

Im asking for peoples help dumbass, I didn't know if there was another option thats why I asked for peoples help but it looks like your real upset, bad day? skis break? girlfriend break up with you? sorry kid respect is a pretty easy thing give me that or get off this thread

I get that, I dont really have a boot fitter i mean I have someone that helps you try on boots at my local shop but not a boootfitter

The edollo has a whole different shell than the drop kicks, it uses the wider descendant shell instead of the regular FT shell. The descendant shell is 101 mm I think in width and the regular shell is 99 mm I think. That’s probably why you can butter better in the Drop kicks because they are more snug on your foot.

Drive man. Even if you have to drive like 8 hours it will be worth your time and money. Find a reputable fitter that works by appointments and drive.
