Why are there edges on the elf shoe part of the ski anyway? There's even a break in the edge and it restarts again. Think it's a good idea to round them and if so, what tool would I use for this.
Never mind, I'm an idiot. Just noticed that the edges in the tip don't even touch the ground because of the spooned tips. I feel like the discontinuous edge lets the tips bounce a lot when you're going fast on hardpack though.
If you do decide you want to detune them at the tip and tail, it's as simple as giving it a few licks with a file at a 45 degree angle, and then rounding it off and de-burring with a gummi stone. Takes a couple minutes tops.
