Epoxying edges

edge crack is starting to pull away from the base. When I epoxy it, should I clamp it or should I fell it with epoxy and let it be?

Clamping it would help keep the base and edge level.

Not clamping it seems like I would get a lot better hold but the edge would have space between it and the sidewall, possibly making it ski weird.

When I epoxied mine, I clamped it. I thinks it better in the long run because if its protruding then there's a lot more friction on the repair and it might fall apart or something.

I usually clamp mine and it seems to hold better

Get a plastic syringe you don't mind chucking from like the dollar store. Inject epoxy til it overflows, then clamp it, wipe off access. And you're all good after a day
