Good beginner park ski

Looking to buy my first pair of park skis and needed some insight. I was thinking about the line honey badgers but have heard some bad things about them.

Yeah a pure park ski, I have a pair of older line prophets and price point is flexible, $300-500 but preferably cheaper

Check out the a few skis from Line, the Chronic, Tom Wallisch pro and if you want a playful noodle ski then check out Blend.

Armada ARV 86 or 96 if you want something a bit wider. I know a lot of guys on here love ON3P but I don't have any experience with them or looked into their skis.

A lot of these skis are probably on sale too now, I managed to get a pair of ARV 96 pretty cheap on a clearance sale.

Line honey badgers are actually a great park ski for the price imo. I ski mostly rails and hit 35 foot jumps and have ridden them this whole season. I have no edge cracks and only a few topsheet chips. For 280 bucks at the end of the season, I'd say you can't really go wrong especially for a beginner. Another sidenote, I've skied knee deep pow with them and they performed pretty well actually

For a cheaper price point, I’ve heard good things about surface skis. But, if you want something that would last I would look into something more expensive like On3p or armada

I didn't notice anything negative really, they have super low swing weight and felt stable enough for sure on 35 foot jumps. This being said, I probably wouldn't hit anything above 60 with them.

Yes, go with the honeybadgers, great quality 10/10 for the price and pretty durable.

I've hit the gulch jumps at carinthia on them, if you dont land backseat you are fine. That said, they are quite soft for a ski and i've since sold them.

ARV 86 are great, I really only hit rails and some small jumps, no edge cracks and no top sheet chips. Super playful ski with quite a bit of pop too

Honey Badgers a a great economical choice. Everyone that I know has owned a pair has liked them. There a cheap way to get into park skiing if you don't want to spend a lot.
