Skiing Nightmares

Had a dream last night that the chairlift was moving like 150 mph backwards down the hill and had tilted all the way upside down somehow and I was legit holding on for dear life trying not to fall out. I turn to my buddy and he legit gets flung out like 200ft but landed in deep powder so he was good..

All the time.

Last night i reached into my pocket on the chairlift and I was out of beer.

I get a reoccurring one where it's the first sunny day in a long time and the park has nohing but boxes.

I used to have dreams where I would get home from school and try to go skiing but run into a million obstacles before finally getting to the hill 20 mins before closing

Aha same, just endlessly driving around until I finally reach the slopes and realize I forgot my ski boots

I was on a chairlift that was EXTREMELY high (taller than the actual mountain), and it started going crazy fast. I was really scared and held on for dear life while I saw all my friends get flinged off and fall to their death. Then I got flinged off but was able to latch onto the large cord, but then it broke and i started falling. And in these situations, you can usually grow wings and start flying cause its a dream or whatever, but this time i just continued falling and landed on my back and broke it (weird part is that i could actually feel that on my back when i woke up). It was fucked.

I've had a dream on more than one occasion where i send it off a huge jump but then there's just no landing and it turns into one of those falling dreams.

I've been getting better at jibs this season (I can barely grind a fat tube) and I have had lots of slip outs. Going to sleep this season after skiing park I've had really bad hypnic jerks / sleep starts where I would see myself slipping out on a jib, feel that falling sensation, and then startle myself awake. Happened damn near constantly for a while there, sucked trying to fall asleep.

The worst for me has always been being alone in a tram that starts to violently shake in the wind before the cable breaks and I plummet. Makes me wanna maybe shit'n'cum...

Not a nightmare, but does anyone have dreams where they can do like backflips and shit that they previously couldn't do and were really stoked on it then they woke up??? Happens to me every so often

I get dreams where I'm stomping double backys in the BC and can literally spin 8 out of a tiny down rail.. had a dream not long ago I stomped a 1080 off a knuckle and I remember being like wow this is fucking real life and had the footy on my phone. Woke up depressed

I had one a few months ago where I was speeding down a groomer and get a ton of air off a steep part but I never started to go down, I just kept going up and up and up and then I woke up.

I don't have ski nightmares. They're always good dreams.

But in response to a chairlift in reverse, gtfo of it before its too late.... Skip to 4:50. Yeah those are cinder blocks. Also skip to 9:50. And 15:30

I had a dream when I was little that I was pointing it from the top of the steepest run at my home hill into a jump midway down. I flew over the entire last half of the trail and landed in lift coral. In the air I was just bracing my body for complete brokenness but I would land,get up, be fine and get back on the lift to do it again. It was horrible and happened a lot when I had growing pains.

Imagine having to live with that? Nothing has helped. I've tried therapy, hypnosis, ayahuasca, jesus, but nothing has helped. It's been so difficult to live with but I feel somewhat better having been able to share my story with other skiers just now. It may not bring closure, but I hope that it will ease some of the pain and anxiety.

Ive broken things in my ski nightmares. One was I hit a small jump and upon landing I broke both my skis in half just in front of the bindings. When I woke up the first thing I did was go check my skis
