Got into touring this year and Mt.Lassen is my backyard, Often overshadowed by Mt. Shasta close by. Lassen has so much sick terrain and endless opportunities with enough snow to ski into August most years. I have taken this mountain for granted most of my life but it got me thinking where else out west has good skiing but we never hear about?

You're going to have buy many beers before people give up their honey holes.

Have you heard of Teton Pass? It's the best. No people, no avy danger. Pow for days, unlimited parking.

Yea, going to have to bribe us with some beers to get the nitty gritty places but Cydwhit mentioned a great area, Teton Pass, located between Targhee and Teton Village(Jackson Hole, WY). Usually great snow early and it sticks around until late spring most seasons. That whole mountain range(the Tetons) have some super gnarly areas through Montanna, Wyoming and Idaho that are very accessible skinning up or have someone take you up on a snowmobile. Northern Utah has some killer spots.......... I am waiting for my beer........... Southeast Idaho has some super killer spots but stay away from there...... That is where I am from, the locals are crazy and you might get attacked by a Liger!(Cross between a Lion and a Tiger,LOL). Still waiting for that beer(Im a Blue Moon drinker)LOL.
