siver ten4 jacket

i just got this jacket off of backcountry.com for a great price but i kind of expected it to be insulated. it seems to be just a shell. i like the jacket alot but do they make an insulated version and where i could get it? or if the raven supposed to be insulated i might just go for that. n e help would be appreciated

It is a shell, and only a shell. THey don't make it any other way. I think the ravens a shell to.

what do you need more than a shell for? i skiied in a spyder thermal under my ten-4 in during a blizzard at brighton when it was 8 below and was just fine. my hands and my toes got cold though.

yeah i like the jacket enought that im just gonna get a thermal for underneath but i figured if they made an insulated version that would be better. thanks guys

i forgot to mention that anyone who was looking into a siver jacket and had questions about the sizing, i got a medium and it fits exactly the same(length/baggyness wise) as my old jacket that was also a medium(made by scott) so i wouldnt say its excetpitonally baggy. im 5' 7' and im def happy w/ a medium. um for a comparison its definitly longer than any of my size large t's or hoodies but i would guess thats expected. hope that helps if anyone is looking into a siver jacket

sean- i guess it just depends on how baggy you like your stuff. my jacket covers my ass thats about as big as i like it.

huckasauras- so they do make an insulated one? o well how much more are they than the shells?

They make uninsulated ones- cheapest right now at backcountry.com $123, and the insulated ones are $200-$210 but not that easy to find right now.

yeah i dont like my shit baggy at all. i wore it to school today and got sooooooooo many compliments. these snowboarders were like where did you get that? i want to get that! and i said you cant bitch, its a ski jacket. and they said i thought skiiers wore those one-piece suits!
