I just got some nasty afterbangs, they have been mounted twice previously and i want to throw some pivots on them. Is mounting them a 3rd time a horrible idea??

3 times is the most I would ever mount. Beyond that I wouldn't trust it

You can mount up to 3 times but remember each time you put a hole in the ski it weakens it. Another thing to remember is that you may have to move the binding a bit to find a fresh area to mount without being too close to other holes. The heel on the pivots will be probably fine since its so far forward compared to say attacks or griffons but the toe may cause you some issue finding a clean area.

You can mount a ski as many times as you have space for. When you remount you don’t want any holes closer then 1cm. So if you are using the same binding and only move positions a bit you run out of space for holes pretty quickly. But if you change bindings or have a much Dufferin boot size to the original mounts so long as the holes do not get too close you are good to go.
All times are Eastern (-5)
