olic3 tips that helped me when I was learning:
Remember to breathe out before hitting the lip of the jump, much easier to be relaxed and flexible in the air without two huge full airbags in your chest getting in the way.

CyanicenineI find I can only grab on a spin if I focus on staying really compact / balled up. If I pull my legs up and ball up immediately then I can get the grab. If I'm lazy and just come into the spin relaxed / neutral it's impossible to grab. Also I must be weird because I find it easiest to grab with my trailing hand since I'm right handed, spin left, and right hand safety is my easiest most natural grab. I don't need to look at my ski to grab it so it doesn't throw my rotation off in any way.
