$369 for a Keystome season pass?!

When purchasing your pass you turn over your soul and the rights to one of your kidneys. But for real they're doing absurd volume on passes, plus they're making a bunch of money off all the other things they own at the resort.

Vail's new goal is to get as many people as possible to buy passes, they don't care if everyone buys $150-200 day tickets anymore. More people = more food bought, gear rented, hotels occupied, etc and they make more money than forcing people to buy expensive day tickets.

Have you skied there? They are waging an open, at times violent war against visitors. I get that they are mad about a massive increase in traffic because of the Ikon pass. I do get it. I'm a local at my home resort which is also on the Ikon pass. I literally can't remember the last time I rode a lift with someone from my state. But to get violent with people because of it is such total bullshit. If you do some research on forums about what is going on you'll see what I'm talking about.

The thing of it is, Jackson Hole (and Big Sky) are not special. Traffic at all the resorts on the Ikon pass has skyrocketed. Colorado, Taos, Alta, all of them are in the same boat. We're all dealing with it. But getting butt hurt and crazy over it is not going to change anything and is going to make things worse, which is what's happening.
