Thoughts on multi resort passes

So I've found talking to a ton of people about them there are mainly two trains of thought. One being locals disliking the pass holders as resorts are now being flooded with weekend warriors, tracking out snow quicker, making lift lines longer, parking harder ect. The other being pass holders being able to go to resorts that they would never usually be able to go to beforehand.
So I"m interested in what NS has to say about them?

Good if you have money to travel, bad for people who want their home mountain to be kept low key.

Crusty locals found something else to bitch about besides snow conditions.
I have only skied my local this year but the Ikon pass made it less expensive.

I like them because all the crowds are going to Jackson and Big Sky instead of smaller resorts. It is seriously making a difference.

Pretty unbeatable as a college student in CO. I can ski a plethora of resorts for cheap and have tons travel options if me and my friends wanna go somewhere different or my parents take a trip.

This is a huge issue, and I hope Ns doesn’t get sick of these threads. Epic and Ikon have been getting greedy. sun valley and snow basin are the latest silly trades
