Dogfartinvest in a tow rope
partyandBSAlso seeking help. The rail I have ripped the edge out of my ski. I grinder it down didn’t hit it and now mad rust has appeared...
Saga. What kind of metal are you using? How did it rip your edge out exactly?
Even if it is all rusty now all you need to do is sand/grind it down again. You can buy some paint to cover the rest of the rail so it doesn't rust again like most parks do.
partyandBSThe rail was a buddies who moved to I’m no sure. I think it might be too soft of a metal which is why it ripped out. It had been siting out side for years in Vermont before I got it this last summer (from a buddy who only wears saga! Haha) I sanded it and spray painted it black with glossy rustoluem. It’s a flat bar and the side was cutting through my base if I put pressure on it. The skis were previously warrantied so it wasn’t a big deal. Took a grinder from my work and with no clue what I was doing hit the corners of the flat bar along the whole side and then the top. Before I even hit it we had a bunch of rain so now I’m scared it will rip up a different ski.
Any my idea what paint resorts use??
