This is gonna get deep, would you rather rock 2 or more hoodies and layering or a nice coat with layering underneath? I've found that layering hoodies gives you more flexibility when winding up and it doesn't hurt as much falling (subjective to what kind of coat you have). So is it the new wave hoodie and beanie or the warm ass waterproof coat?
