Pivots broken after 4 days how much will this affect them?

I’ve spent 4 days on these bindings. Bought them brand new when I bought my Allplays. Have not rode them hard at all (these are my all mtn ski). Went to adjust the bindings to my new boot and found that this part is broken off and it allows the heel piece to move forward. It still feels like the boot is locked in correctly. But there is a good 3mm of travel.

Can I finish out the season on these? I know the warranty process will probably take forever.

Yeah like I said in the post im
going to warranty. Just want to see if it’s possible to finish the season on them.

A bigger shop might have spare baseplates hanging around. The last shop I worked at had one or two and would just throw them on for you and then warranty the one you left there to replace the one they gave you. Worth a shot checking in. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend skiing without that piece as it provides the forward pressure and you probably won’t release correctly.

Ok thanks for the advice. I’m heading to my shop here soon to see what they can do.

as i mentioned in your other post, it seems like the white tab just broke off. that spring thats exposed is the forward pressure spring.

if you cant tell a difference in riding them its probably all good.

but if the local shop has an easy replacement then boom youre sorted

Yeah I called every shop around and nothing. So I called J Skis (where I got the bindings) and they hooked it up and are handling the warranty.
