Can I finish out the season on these? I know the warranty process will probably take forever.

TheWeazA bigger shop might have spare baseplates hanging around. The last shop I worked at had one or two and would just throw them on for you and then warranty the one you left there to replace the one they gave you. Worth a shot checking in. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend skiing without that piece as it provides the forward pressure and you probably won’t release correctly.
shin-bangas i mentioned in your other post, it seems like the white tab just broke off. that spring thats exposed is the forward pressure spring.
if you cant tell a difference in riding them its probably all good.
but if the local shop has an easy replacement then boom youre sorted
