weastcoastThey sold for 420.
weastcoastWell then the presale was 420. But anyway I don’t think they’ll go up anymore (at least I hope not) because their flagship reputation is being cheaper than the competition while being more durable, which is holding true.
VinnieFThey're a very competent marketing company. They'll keep it at whatever price will make them the most $$.
yungcurvEmmett has talked about how VISHNU will always have a ski available for under $500 so I don't see the wet going up in price. Maybe the wides will get more expensive but its already priced pretty well at around $650 (I think) so it should stay the same.
skiswerveEvery park ski should be priced lower then $600 because you just going to beat the shit out of them, i see people go through 3+ pairs a season and it gets expensive especially if you really shred
weastcoast3 pairs a season ??? They must be riding line blends or something
skiswerveFactions, Line blends, Moments shit if your in the park almost daily your skis are gonna get crushed especially on the ice coast where we ski on rocks and shit, point is I've seen people shred through factions and blends and park skis in general, I bought the Moment Frankenski (great ski) for $600, those aren't gonna last me more than 2 seasons and thats a lot of money to spend for 2 years maybe less
weastcoastMoments are solid. But once you get heavy into rails you won’t have a ski last you much more than a year if you get to a year. But he big misconception people have is that once they have edge pullout they think they need a new ski. False. If your skis slide on snow and rails then they aren’t dead, therefore you could stretch a ski to 2 years if you really wanted to.

yungcurvI can say with confidence that you will not go through 3 pairs of vishnus in a season
skiswerve100% agreed my friend thats what their doing right im talking about other companies charging a shit on for a ski that won't last them the season
yungcurvyeah facts lol

tahoearmada20still to this day ive never seen a pair of vishnus in person
do they even sell them anywhere in california or nevada?
BJ2112anybody catch the new topsheet designs? I know they were on vishnu’s insta the other day but I didnt get to see.
zaching11DUDE SAME , my frankenskis lasted me from November to February ... not happy with Moment at all
Rum_HamI saw your for sale post, those skis are so far from dead. 3 edge cracks is no reason to stop skiing a park ski.
zaching113 edge cracks with water leaking in and the edge starting to pull out ..... I would argue they were at the end of its life... I never rock a ski with no edges underfoot
weastcoastYou ever hear of epoxy?
zaching11Yes sir

JT9DI saw one dude at killington with them, only pair I've ever seen in person. I'm definitely gonna grab a pair
VISHNUDamn what a thread. One of the founding values of this company is to have a park ski under $500, so we are gonna keep it that way. In the future of course we may have more expensive models etc but a sub $500 park ski is definitely the cornerstone of the brand
Dyllxni wish thety would make a smaller size though
TOAST.Really? Retiring a park ski after 3 edge cracks damn im surprised you get more than a week out of a pair of skis. Unless you are skiing ice all the time you dont need edges in the park especially on warm days.
zaching113 edge cracks and a core shot that were all epoxied , didn’t do anything for the edge cracks as they were all still starting to pull out ... and yes , I do ski Ice all the time (NH mountains) so that’s that. No such things as warm days on the east coast unless it’s April

TOAST.I still think its ridiculous to retire a pair of park skis just because some edge cracks and a coreshot. Ive had edges that looked like those last the rest of the season. My current skis have a giant hole in between the sidewall and the base where the edge used to be, the base is peeling away but ya just fill it with GFlex every now and then. They were at the point yours are at 3 seasons ago but i guess i like getting my moneys worth out of a pair of skis.
skiswerveMoments shit
midwesternmaniacI have faith in Emmet hes from Wisconsin which is secretly the ski mecca of earth
tothebowlHahahah ya bro wisco ftw....the vishnu bois go crazy here #midwest
