Background: bought the boots for a trip I'm going on this weekend. Wore them around the house and thought they would work. Skied them for a run and realized the heel was aggravating an old bone spur. I did some very minimal grinding and tried again. They were still bad. Realized the chance of them working is really low and I should try to get something of value out of them instead of skiing them more or doing a ton of boot work and making them useless to anybody.

TL/DR - Skied 5 runs total, very minimal heel grinding to the shell.

Boots come with both DIN compatible soles which are installed, and tech compatible rubber versions.
