Saw he’d been riding the ascendants all season , wanted to know your guyses thoughts. I think a pro model with the walk mode would be hella tight, mabey even in the classic shell.

Judging by his past podcast with mark from lpp (if I recall correctly) along with a few comments on ig it sounds like Sammy breaks boots every few weeks and has been running the gamut of touring/freeride boots just trying to find a boot that will hold up for what he does.

Probably too early to tell, but who really knows. Dudes probably just trying to find a boot that works rather than trying to keep running through boots.

Sammy was on the Lupo AX before, which has a stamped steel walk mode plate that the switch is fixed to, that loves to explode to the pinched corners to create the shape. I made a cad file for a plate that could be machined out of aluminum or steel that would be way more durable, especially if you threaded it and used bolts, instead of rivets.
