Which Ice Coast State is actually the iciest

Title. But here in PA we seem to get shit on with freezing rain a decent bit, and always a huge drop in temps after a big rain.

I don't think I've ever skied as much ice as I have in VT. Maybe it's because the trails were longer and steeper and more acreage but yeah it puts anything in PA or western NY to shame

From a climatological perspective its PA but it doesn't matter because you can find ice everywhere most of the season so its not really a competition

Maine isn't always the worst, but typically we'll get a ton of snow, but rain or ice with it. Then it will melt, then it will freeze and be bulletproof

Vermont is super icy, usually it will snow be nice for a few days then either rain or get warm then freeze a day after and remain ice for weeks.

That's tough. NY has a shit ton of mtns. Some of them so glacial it's amazing they ever melt out, some pretty solid snow consistently.

Depends a lot on elevation honestly. NY and PA are up there though for weather and night skiing.
