After snapping my kartel last year (crying) I'm overdue for another midfat ski.
I'm a pretty horrible park skier, but like a stiff ski with a lot of tail, everything is ride is pretty center mounted. Usually I'm looking for spots of soft snow, then moguls, or hitting jumps when it's completely skied off, no rails after a few pretty bad falls. My k108s were a little too wide for the bumps, which is the main reason I'm looking at the 102s vs another kartel pair. I really, really like moguls.
The park detune means I'd go at least customish on the magnus, On3p is done pressing for this year's model. demod them and really liked the flex/width in the bumps and leftovers, but the snow wasn't as heavy as it normally is, so I'm a little worried about the flex when I it's heavier. I haven't had a chance to ski the prodigy, but the blister writeup makes it pretty appealing with it mounted +2 and seems like it'd be a bit stiffer.
For reference, my favorite ski of all time is a 12/13 caylor in 191, and my spring skis are a pair of punx 7s.
I ski hood (meadows til close then timberline) with a few trips to Colorado through the season.
Any advice?
