Can I hike with normal boots with the Salomon shifts??

Hello, I have just bought a pair of powder skis and I was wondering if I can "tour/hike/walk" with the Salomon shift bindings using my current boots (dalbello il moro, the boots doesn't have the holes in the sole for the pins)

Yeah, so long as you make sure to unclip and strap the skis securely to your rucksack you should be good to go

you can also just carry your skis in your hand or even drag them up the hill behind you if you want to look cool hiking rails

Not with your boots as is, but you can get the pin inserts put into the toe of your current boot at some places, I know cast systems can do it, something to look into
