I made a thread about how it was a win win for there to be controversy over men competing as women and dominating because it forces lib sjws to choose between persecuting trans men, or admitting physical gender differences, both of which are conservative sentiments.
They circular logic hypocrisy has come full circle. The libs can't have their cake and eat it.
To anybody who complained about this thread or wanted it censored, you should learn how to be an adult, and argue your point against me, instead of being a fucking child and crying to your mommy and daddy to censor the mean conservative.

It seems that everytime I think about coming back to skiing and trying to re-engage with the community and sport I used to be incredibly passionate about I'm greeted to posts like this. I realize that the demographics for this sport skew young and a lot of you all have probably never met trans women who are athletes but for those of you who have an image in your head of us as lumbering meatheads trying to steal glory from women I hope you get the chance to meet and connect with the few of us who are out here training and competing in our respective disciplines. We care about sport and competition and community as much as the rest of you. We're not out here for ourselves, we're out here to be a part of the things we care deeply about.

Well considering the fact that the FIS doesn't even have a fleshed out publicly available policy regarding trans athletes it would be an enormous shitshow. Assuming they just used the same metrics as the IOC it would probably translate to Hall having to begin the process of medically transitioning and then maintaining Testosterone levels under 10 nmol/L for 12 months before being allowed to compete (ie: effectively skipping a whole season of competition). You can't just self select your gender when you're competing at an elite/professional level so this whole framing is based on a complete misunderstanding of how the process works.

Your phrasing shows that you have little understanding of that complex topic. One does not wake up and "suddenly" decide to switch gender.

Anyway, this is such a complicated issue, balancing the need for inclusive and supportive laws and regulations representing all facets of society and preserving individual liberties (reminder that there are millions of transgender people in the US, this isn't a handful of people) while keeping things fair for everyone.

Honestly, I wouldn't want to be the one having to come up with a solution on this one.

Trans people have all the rights that cis people have in the eyes of the law. They want to go above and beyond those rights and frankly I am not comfortable with that as a cis heterosexual male. Full acceptance to a trans woman means that I'm not allowed to judge them or stop being sexually attracted to them if I find out they have (or had) a dick. frankly that is bullshit. I think that if a trans woman tricks you into taking her home under the assumption that they are a member of the female sex then you should absolutely be allowed to punch them right in the face and not have it labeled as a hate crime. I understand there are some degenerate fucks out there that will attack trans people unprovoked but we have the 2nd amendment and you can go buy a gun if you're so fucking scared.

edit: After doing some reading I will say I was partially wrong. They are not subject to fair housing laws in most states which is fucked up. But I don't think they deserve special treatment and they certainly don't get to redefine other people's sexualities which is something that I've seen them trying to do.

This is a free country, you are free to judge and be attracted to whoever the fuck you want, stop being such a pussy, no one is gonna force you to be sexually attracted to anyone.

Let me make sure I'm tracking. You're saying that trans people, by being trans and attractive enough that you want to bone them before knowing that they are actually trans, are forcing you to redefine your sexuality? Because now you're starting to feel homosexual?

Or are they forcing you to redefine your sexuality in another way? Please help me understand.

They want to be a protected class of people that have any form of assault against them classified as a hate crime. That's what I mean when I say going above and beyond. And the fact that you're calling me insecure only furthers my point. There should be no, and I mean none, nada, zilch, confusion about what the word heterosexual means. Yet we see trans people and people like you actively trying to redefine the word. It's not "narrow minded" to perceive a man sleeping with a trans woman as gay because it's actually a homosexual act. Both people have xy chromosomes, both people have or had male genitalia... so yeah... it's gay. you can claim you're gynosexual, that would be valid. But even that isn't okay according to trans people. They want to be perceived as women in their entirety meaning that they want to feel comfortable deceiving cis men. so if the threat of violence is what it takes to prevent that then that's okay by me because I don't even want to have the remote possibility of getting to 2nd base with a tranny. End of fucking discussion.

There is a very clear legal definition of what a hate crime is, and while I see that you're trying to make the point that it shouldn't be a hate crime to beat up a trans for being a trans, that's actually the very definition of what a hate crime is. Same as beating a white person for being white, a gay person for being gay, etc. That's not trying to get any sort of special treatment, that's being treated the same as everyone else.

But anyway, I don't really see the point of arguing with someone who thinks beating up people is the solution. You clearly have a lot of hate and fear in you, it's unfortunate, I hope you grow out of it.
