Surface Ruess?

Looks like an all-around ski. 105 underfoot and doesn't have the goofy 3 part rocker at $300. Anyone know anything more?

Doesn't the ruess have the weird bases that allow for low level touring without skins?

The model from a few years did, the website does not mention it for the current model, just says sintered base.
