General distinction between a woman's and man's park ski?

The main real differences between men's and women's skis are a more forward mounting point and a slightly softer flex from most companies. Some even have a slightly smaller turn radius and dimensions compared to their male specific counterparts.

That being said, a lot of other companies just say "Fuck it, lets shrink it and pink it." and label it as a women's ski.

This a pretty controversial topic for a couple reasons,some companies do end up doing a good job however it’s a very thin line for companies to walk.
Either you don’t put out women’s skis and just say ‘You girls are rippers,you don’t need lower spec skis just ride what we’re putting out and treat them as unisex skis.’ This has the downside of some skiers calling them out saying ‘we need women’s skis this is unfair.’
This usually leads to an approach like this; ‘We’re going to put out women specific skis that will be slightly different from our men’s versions,with smaller lengths,slightly lighter construction styles because in general and from simple rules of science women tend to be lighter and not as tall as men. Different top sheets will also be used to easily distinguish the skis as women’s specific.’
But again this can sometimes make people present the argument of ‘Your being rude saying women are unequal to men and so get given different, under performing products.’
It’s an endless cycle which will always have some people opposing whatever the company is doing.

Faction just changes graphics

Normally a more forward mounting point, and softer core. If the ski has metal in it, lots of companies would lessen it or take it out completely. Pretty sexist IMO cause tons of chicks shred and would benefit from the "mens version" just slightly shorter. Its getting better though, companies are starting to just change the topsheet and sizes.

To clarify on this, Faction makes an x line, which is the same as the normal line, but with a more women-specific topsheet. It has the same construction, sizes (minus a few of the larger sizes), and quality as the normal line, just with a different topsheet. Personally, the Dictator 2.0x, (which is solid bright pink) if one of my favorite topsheets this year, and plenty of guys are on that ski.
