Replying to Most Dissapointing Ski Day You've Ever Had?

Opening day, 2016. My brand new Line Mordecai's came into the shop a few days before and i was super stoked to ride them. First ride up, we realized the wind blew the little amount of snow that we had (around 25-30 cm) away. I put on some Zepplin and was imagining a nice and tasty line down through the alpine down into the treeline to bomb around through there. I followed a friend who took me into the rocks straight outta surfs up, tried to pop over some big rocks and double ejected into a tomahawk. this was no longer then 10 seconds into our run. Blew a hole in my shoulder while dislocating it, but that wasnt the most disappointing part. The skis were trashed. the skis were delaminated to the wood, and had to be sent to Vancouver to see if they could save them. luckily they could, and i had them back by the end of January. Sure put a salty taste in my mouth to start the season. Lets here some good stories !
