Nope. It’s just advertising. Just pick the boot with the tongue stiffness you want. The Tom Wallisch model is a 6 if I remember correctly.

False. The 6 doesn’t have the pro liner. The Tom Wallisch and first chair 8/10’s all do. They all have booster straps too. Go on the website and read the descriptions and look at the photos.
