Only brain dead idiots would think this is good, Safety and style is met when wearing a helmet. If that doesn't satisfy you, you might as well shave your head and wear nothing on your head when you are skiing.

I called them out on Instagram saying that I didn’t believe it was as safe as any other helmet. Bullshit it is as safe as a helmet with mips fuck off.

For the people that just really don't want to wear a helmet, maybe this will be a little bit safer option. But claiming that a padded hat will protect you as much as a helmet with foam and hard shell layers will is definitely a stretch imo

'They're annoying to use'... if you find putting a helmet on 'annoying' then you've gotta question yourself why you're so angry at the world
'They look pretty ugly'.... this is of course subjective, but I think some look ace when paired with some sweet goggles.
'They can be really uncomfortable'... meh I'll give him that one, until you buy one that fits.

But for real. Even if it's teflon lined, good luck with tree branches to the skull. The blunt impact is gonna cause a subdural or skull fracture even if no penetration

I guess it's a good thing because at least ppl who hate helmets will maybe use it, however it's sending the wrong message. This will never be equal or superior to true helmets of any caliber. What's a fucking waste of money.

Tru dat. I think I saw it on the news the other day and I thought "why not just wear a helmet?" It'll probably be cheaper, offer better protection and look pretty good.

Looks like a scam to me. There wasn't much of a demonstration of the actually technology behind it. I doubt it is AS safe as a helmet.

Safer than no helmet? Probably.

Based on their description of how it works, I'd imagine its very similar to G Form padding. That stuff certainly works for impacts to other areas of the body, but the brain is different because of how it moves around in the skull, so no way it'd be as safe as a proper fitting helmet let alone a helmet with mips.
