Hansel9001The spectrum of originality spans all the way from sheer genius to dorky degeneracy. A genius form of originality would be for example charles gagniers octograb, or going without poles. A degenerate form of originality would be for example grabbing your ski before you take off the jump, or grabbing your ski while youre grinding a rail. Feel free to name some other degenerate inventions in freeskiing so we can hate on them.

DirtYStylEI wouldn't say I hate these people, but those that don't wear helmets are total goobers
Hansel9001Its
Crazy how many people are going sans
Helmet these days. From 2010-2016 it seemed like 95/100 good skiers were wearing a helmet. And now its like only like 2/3. Im dumb enough to go without a helmet myself, but im smart enough to know you can still paralyze and amputate your ass if you toss around thinking your Helmet makes you invincible.

KilaTsunamiWe all have a little phase where w go no poles, burn our bras, maybe fuck around, pop a perc n vote for Bernie on sum young shit haha but that shit is supposed to end OP.
Idahoecan I use this as my sig?
KilaTsunamiThose are all just opinions.
Yes, Originality IS a spectrum
However,
"going without poles" and "sheer genius" just aren't synonymous, my guy.
IMO: No Poles is like the Final phase of Park rider puberty. Yes, We all have a little phase where w go no poles, burn our bras, maybe fuck around, pop a perc n vote for Bernie on sum young shit haha but that shit is supposed to end OP. Plus you can pull all sorts of shoulder/torso muscles doing park without poles. I know I did. Some professionals really do it justice but the rest of us just look Daffy Duck w out poles.
DolanReloadedInteresting pov sir.
I think if you legitimately make nopoles look decent or better you shouldnt be hated on.
Also, if you have big heavy gorilla arms you will naturally have good nopoles style without even trying.
Little bitch forearms need poles tho i agree.

KilaTsunamipoles not only complete the professional look but IMO they keep my skiing way more "composed". I have 38 inch Line Wallschticks and Im 5'10. they're just amazing. Never in my way, but rite there when I need them for Lift lines, Cool pole tricks to impress chicks, pulling my friends w/o poles, yada yada yada
DolanReloadedIts easier to fall without poles and you dont risk breaking your thumb without poles.
I wont argue that most people ski better without poles.
But if you can pull it off, going without poles is living the dream.
KilaTsunamiPersonally I just keep mine tightly clasped between my cheeks when not using em
DolanReloadedWhat?
SendyMcSendyfaceYou know what else is on a spectrum? Autism.
