JT9DBeen reading up about what to tell tech and where to draw the line when I center mount my skis, I found that there are 4 kinds of center mounting: Length center, sidecut center, camber center, and balance center. I've found through searching ns that telling ski tech "center mount them" isnt very specific so they go with the recommended line. I'd like some advice on how to figure out where to draw the line to let them know where I want the bindings mounted.
mystery3What ski are we talking about?
When anyone on this site says center mount they're referring to length center, measure tip to tail, divide by two, mark the line.
JT9DThe ski in question would be the vishnu wet
WoosYou want it mounted true center aka dead center. Right in the middle. Say either of those two words and they will know what to do.
mystery3Better to mark it than assume.
