Looks like a wet slab avy. Pretty scary to see an inbounds avy considering report was overall only moderate for the day. Details will emerge soon.
Hope everyone ends up okay.

brotoThat's terrifying. 10-12 buried??
Monsieur_PatateIt's a known avy prone slope, it did slides many times in the past, they were monitoring the slope and were actually just about to close the run for safety reasons as temps were rising, when the avy naturally triggered. Another few minutes and people would have probably been safe. Real sad stuff.
powpatrolscary stuff :/
Here in verbier we’re getting a couple huge wet slides but thankfully they aren’t skier triggered or getting too near to any runs
LukeTheWaffleYeah I'm in verbier too, there's no snow for a bit so stuff should get better but there is always slides by creble
powpatrolNice dude, keep a look out for some black crows with two stickers on the tips ;)
You seen the james blunt lift? huge one under that and looks like it’s gonna give way further up also
