Camerontaylor158The company I work for has requested me to give them the top 3 resorts I’d like to work in for next winter. I’m currently torn as to where I want to go. This will be my 4th winter, having done Les Arcs and Courchevel and currently being in Tignes. I was thinking about Verbier, St Anton, Mayrhofen, Alpe D’Huez or staying in Tignes again. Anyone spent time in these resorts or have any suggestions?

mattybaumsWho do u work for lol I want that kind of freedom
SendyMcSendyfaceDamn bro where do you work?
Camerontaylor158I work for Inghams.
SendyMcSendyfaceFuck, so they just give ya a pass or send ya to a resort for the winter? Shit sounds dope.
Camerontaylor158It’s essentially a wish list of resorts. Then you get given your contract which you have to sign with your pay on it and you opt in or out of things such as lift pass, accommodation, food, ski hire, other amenities which get deducted from your monthly wage. Then they fly you out there, you work for the season, then they ship you home again.

mattybaumsYou rent?
mattybaumsYou rent?
Camerontaylor158Skis? No, not me personally but a lot of people do
razors-chazHaving done seasons in both Mayrhofen and St Anton I would reccomend both of them but for different reasons.
Mayrhofen's park is one of the best in the Alps with a decent regular crew to ride with and there are more parks in the valley. There is plenty of off piste to ski in the resort & more a short tour away. Also there is a huge range of off piste available in the other resorts along the valley with highlights at Kaltenbach & Hintertux. Night life is more chill with less seasonaires in town but still chances to get rowdy along with Snowbombing late season. It's also relatively cheap compared to St Anton.
St Anton has a half decent park with a pretty good jump line. There is lots of off piste of a wide variety of extremes in the fully skiable valley of resorts. Night life in St Anton is a much bigger deal and has more of the stereotypical seasonaire vibes with bars and clubs and a serious offering for apres. More expensive to eat & drink and general shopping. So just depends what you want out of your winter. Happy to answer questions by DM if you want to know more, esp about the job (I assume you're going to be a chalet bitch?)
mattybaumsI meant you rent skis? Lol
w.enschede4 weeks st. Anton, 4 weeks Zermatt and finish 4 weeks in Chamonix seems pretty decent if you want 3 spots. Make sure you have your touring gear with you.
