The memory is all around the metal, the plastic is just there for structure.
DMSpenceWhen the dog started chewing he probably damaged or dented the storage chip. The SD card also has a smaller chip which stores info that probably wasn't damaged and that's why it told you the specs of the card.

SuspiciousFishCall the company that makes the card and see if you can send it in. They are usually pretty good at being able to rip data off it so its worth a try.

buenoGood call I think I’ll give that a try. I’ve contacted a bunch of data recover ships and they’ve all kinda said I’m fucked but I’ll try calling the company
