Toenail issues

So, I fucked up my big toe like a month ago but it hasn’t started to fall off till I banged it again today on a jump. So my friend has had two fall off this season and said pull it out or just let it fall but idk. You see, it’s still connected pretty good to one said and the blue spot doesn’t reach it there. If u need a photo I can send it but I thought I wouldn’t add it in case someone is eating lunch. I know this is a common injury, but I wanna be safe since it’s still connected to part of it

If it's on the verge of coming out just pull it. If there's still a decent amount of attachment leave it for a week

Leave it til it turns a greyish color and you are able to wiggle it around a bit, then you should be able to slowly pull that bad boy off

Yup. It might hurt a little when you land super backseat but you should be good, definitely trim it first if you can

same thing happened to me last season
toe got so banged up it just kinda fell off at some point, covered in dried blood and bruisage

Honestly Even if it’s nasty as fuck I’d send a pic just to judge if you gotta pull it. If it’s all dead and it’s just coming out I’d pull it but if it’s still anchored in but dead LEAVE IT.

Unless you’ve already had it happen to you, your nail will lift up from your toe and it will become hollow underneath and become temping to pull. Just keep trimming it painlessly until it will fall out in a month or two.

You'd be surprised how long those fuckers hang on. I had one take 6 months to fall out. It was absolutely painless though

I think it’s gonna go pretty soon. When I meant anchored I meant anchored on one side. I can lift it in the other two
