Adjusting to Larger Jumps

As long you don’t go off axis you’re gknna be fine. First of all what do you mean by big jumps? 15 feet? 40 feet?

In theory it should be easier to 720 a huge jump because you have a lot of time to spot your landing and open up if you have to.

getting used to throwing spins moving faster is always a struggle for me. Once you get the speed down, throw a few small spins like 180's, 360's and 540's. Then adjust your pop for a little more rotation.

I don't think that bigger jumps make spins easier necessarily. Technically they should and at a certain point they do, but people tend to feel more confident and throw tricks cleaner on smaller features. People that can 7 tiny jumps but rarely spin over 3 on bigger jumps.

Just take it in stepping stones if possible. If your resort doesn't have jumps built that way maybe just try it in a 3 jump line. Learn it on the first, then the second, then the 3rd. If you're getting bigger gradually it isn't as scary. If you're going from a small jump to a big jump, you just gotta say yolo and get sendy.

I only spin smaller jumps now because I'm a pussy.
