Why did you quit?

I didn't win my final race because the guys who said they'd take care of my stuff, even when I insisted I'd take it myself, forgot it, so I was on rentals and got 10th out of 50 60ish

I quit because my team was a pile of shit , and everyone on it sucked, so the coaches helped them so I wasn't learning anything or progressing

Plus swerving is fun

I remember once it was an epic pow day and I was doing laps and generally having a badass good time. The next lift up a racer got on next to me and was cussing for like 2 min straight until I asked him what was up. He said he had a bad run and missed the time he wanted by some stupid small interval. I said something like, "Uh, that sucks man." and was quiet the rest of the way up. It still gets me how he could have been having the time of his life but instead is hating the day because he skied through some arbitrary gates a little slower than he should. Its like he somehow went out and found a way to make skiing not fun. Fuck that.

I did bomb down a NASTAR course switch once, that was pretty cool.

Hahaha in all reality I'm happy my parents started me racing and I quit when I was ten. Helped me become a way better skier and all my park rat friends can't "ski" for shit.

Racing helps get you a good base of technique no doubt but I've met many racers who claim to be super pro when in reality they suck dick so i think I dont think it's a good assumption. You however are awesome and I will be following you on instagram

Why no racing ?

There's always so damn much material you have to carry to the ski resort, you gotta traing so hard and so much especially in switzerland if you wanna get to the top and you always have to ski along the race course, I prefer to ski what i like, to shred some slopes, to carve to go to the park and do a loot of freeriding!
