Replying to Surface Skis

Hi Newschoolers,
I have been looking at a few different pairs of surface skis as they are on sale right now. I have not really heard much about them from anyone. I looked up a few older threads which were mostly about how they are now making skis again. I am curious as to how good of a ski they make in general. I have been looking at a pair of MTN Blanks. How durable are they and how playful are these? If you own a different pair how are those.
