Buying Mamoth

If every person on NS gave like 100 dollars, we might have a chance in the bid if some ski companies put in, and then mamoth would be more centered around newschool, and it wouldnt be owned by some conglomerate corporation. if mamoth was owned by ns, think of the possibilities.

^i know, but ski resorts should be owned by skiers, not companies, you know? Maybe we could do the same thing for another ski resort, and get it up and running as a newschool resort.

haha, 2 things to say:

First of all, this is like the 3rd 'Ns should be *insert resort here*!!' post in the past month.

Secondly, I'm not sure how much better we could make mammoth. It's pretty amazing already.

approx 55,000 members times $100 equals $5,500,000

5.5 mil isnt nearly enough.

$1000 apiece gets us 55 mil. still not even close.
5 grand apiece gets us $275 mil.

now i have absolutely no idea what mammoth is worth, but this may be getting close. now convincing everyone to donate that money is another thing. good luck. i'll go apply for my loan today

theres no way everyone would put in 100 bucks because only a few people on ns would be able to visit the place regularly.
