from what i've read, the 'superaids' virus has only showed up in two cases. that hardly constitutes a new strain, especially when those two people probably never met eachother. besides, instant symptoms could be a good thing, the people that infect others aren't aware they carry the infection, the symptoms are still dormant in them and they have no idea. if people were instantly aware that would mean a far lower rate of infection. besides, immune to the drug coctails? HIV is a mutating retrovirus, a large number of those afflicted dont recieve any benefits from using the treatments. finally, the side effects from those drugs kill almost the same number of people every year as aids.
