Replying to Switched from boarding to skiing this season-need advice.
Title says it all.
This season I switched from boarding to skiing and I love it. I originally bought a pair of used Salomon X Wing 10's 70 Underfoot and have absolutely loved learning on these things. However, I am now getting extremely comfortable on blues and traveling into some diamonds and reds and hitting powder and trees where the X Wings are starting to struggle with the 70 underfoot. I am still a "Beginner" but I am hitting the mountain twice a week to improve quick.
I am looking for an all mountain ski where I can tap a rail occasionally or hit a jump without sacrificing all mountain performance. Looking for some advice on what brands/models to look for or demo. I recently bought a pair of Volkl Revolt 95's, did 5 runs on them and returned them.
