Tyrolia Attack bindings problems?

Being a repair tech this year I see a lot of Pivot bindings either breaking or making skis delam under the heel due to having the screw pattern too close together. However, It is fairly rare that I see some problems with Attack bindings. I've had mine for 5 years with no issue (except brakes of course) and I was genuinely wondering if you guys had any issues with the attacks. Im just curious because I see a lot of people worship the pivots (safer for your knees, but at what cost?) while no one ever mentions attack bindings. Any thoughts?

Some guy had pre-release issues a couple weeks back but it turned out his forward pressure was not set properly iirc.
Good bindings, would buy again.

I have pre release in my attacks with my forward pressure and afd set correctly at the same din I set my pivots to without pre release

I've had pre-release from marker dukes, my attack 16's at the same din seem to have a rougher yet more predictable release (i.e. when they need to)
Not a bad binding, especially for the price, weight, and durability.
Absolutely cannot beat the buttery-smooth release of a sth2 or pivot tho

Everyone talks about the Attacks as they are the best bang for the buck binding out there. “Pivots if you have the $, Attacks if you don’t” is the saying online and I’d agree. Pivots have the most elastic heel out there and shortest binding mount for proper ski flex but they also aren’t cheap, aren’t light and don’t allow for much boot sole length adjustment.
Attack2 bindings are inexpensive, smooth release with the new Toe, light, easy to get in/out of, don’t prerelease if adjusted properly and have lots of adjustability for boot sole sizes.
Pivots are the best performing, Attack2 are the best value.

That was me with the AFD issue. Got hooked up with a set of jester pros for $100 more. Didn’t feel confident in the Attack, after being on jesters for nearly 10 years. No hate on the binding, my tech set it up incorrectly. However I don’t think the toe piece inspires much confidence, if you look up my thread I posted photos comparing the pivot, jester and attack toe pieces and the new attack toe seems like your boot is barely held in. That said I had no problem once I corrected the AFD, still feeling uneasy about what’s clamping you is no good and I’d buy a more burly binding from the get go next time around. I trust jesters more than pivots as I’ve ripped the heel piece out of too many skis. I won’t remount my last working pair of pivots, they can die on the old chronics they are on.

In my experience
Sth2> fks > attack > marker products.
I’ve just had bad luck with marker but I’m sure the jester /j pro would work fine.
