Seriously, in all of my years of living here, this may be the best snow conditions I've ever seen. about 7 or 8 feet of right side up blower on top of 2 meters of perfectly bonded base...
its so bottomless that it's sorta terrifying at times.

LineSkiertram face is scary af even with super deep snow cover. I've never met a single person who has tried it. Have you?
DingoSeanI did it at daybreak one day back in 2017 with a couple of guys. It was steep. It was scary. But it was also so blanketed with snow that it wasn't as scary as usual. Basically prime conditions for a tram-face drop. There was no mandatory air-out. There was a few really steep narrow sections, and then that was about it.
I wouldn't touch it right now because this snow is way fluffier and lighter than the storms we were getting in 2017 that were pretty damn wet.
Eastcoastskier95moved to truckee from new york end of november, had a season ending injury in mid december. missing out on all this snow really sucks but looking forward to next year
Obie.Hey I’m pretty much in the same boat... originally from MI but moved from NY (by Syracuse) to Reno a couple weeks ago. I have a bum knee right now but can still ski — just not as hard as I’d like. Gonna gun for surgery in spring. HMU if you wanna ride next year.

Makressmanare we about to get fucked by this warm system moving up? hope it doesnt ruin all this good snow
LineSkierIt's not gonna be great after today anyway. A lot of it is getting crusted by the wind.
mystery3Stop whining, if it keeps snowing we'll be skiing on Memorial day.
LineSkierI have no complaints. Had a great pow day. Just saying there's no point in worrying about what the next storm is gonna do to today's snow.
codizzlehow many years you lived there? i'm jealous
