ON3P vs J Skis

Haven't seen this thread so I thought I might start one.

Going into the 2nd half of the season, I wanted a ski that would do everything I wanted it to. Spring slush, park and pow and sometimes just bombing it down groomers.
I was looking into Magnus102/Kartel 96 or the J Skis All play.
What do you guys think? Im open to other brands but want to stay away from a poacher because of the weight (Already had one so don't come in saying I should try it).
Also not looking at Armada, so don't suggest the Arv 96 please.
Please help me out as I am currently on a noodle park ski so I need something soon (At least drop a vote)!

I'd lean towards the Kartel 96 if you want it to do a little bit of everything. Factory detune on the Magnus 102 is nice for just park, but I like to have a bit of an edge for icy days.

I'm pretty sure both skis weigh around 2000g give or take at 181 cm. So not the lightest but they're durable as shit

I've heard that the warranty sucks. Hopefully I will be able to ride them in the future, considering atomic purchasing them. Ive also heard durability issues with them.

Bad Durability + Warranty Issues = a huge no no

Yeah but I beat tf out these skis every weekend in the park and only ever broke the break on my bindings. I think u got it twisted with the bad stigma toward Armada!

Hopefully next year. Im trying to get my manager to carry armada so i dont pay full price lol

riding allplays right now actually, with marker griffons
-light
-wide enuff for decent float in pow
-nice mellow flex
-they don't jitter unless ur doing 60 on chop

J Graphics are a major plus (for me at least). I love my great waves and so do people standing in the lift line.

Karl left on3p, they couldn't offer as much as other companies could. Seemed like there wasn't any hard feelings

Weight and durability go hand in hand. If you didn't like the weight of the poacher you probably won't like the weight of the kartel. You want a light ski, or a bomber ski?

Yeah just looking for something lighter. The magnus is lighter, Right around 1.8 to the 2.1 on the paocher

Idk how the jskis feel but the ct series feels like it has a super low swing weight. Fun/easy yet supportive when you need it. Again, faction's durability probably won't be that of the poacher or the kartel.

ON3P all day.
I haven't ridden either of magnus or kartel but reading about them on their site I would say Magnus 102 for more park oriented and Kartels if you want more all mountain slaying.

Both sound like they would kill it for what you want. You would be happy with either.

But I would say Kartel graphics look cooler so I'd lean that way.

Im leaning towards the Magnus. Its wide but not too wide and the detune is better for what Ill mostly be doing. Plus it can still go outside to powder and stuff

Depends how you like to ski. For me, there's a huge difference between 96 and +100 under foot in regards to feed back or feel.

Cop ON3P if you want something that will take a beating. The J's will be flexier. ON3P got lots of rocker. Its more about what you prefer.
