Hansel9001Sometimes i compare the two movie characters andy dufresne (dufrain) from the shawashank redemption and forrest gump. Both are innocent, but one is very smart and the other is very unintelligent. I think its more natural to conflate stupidity or naivety with innocence, but tim robbins shows that you can be very innocent even if youre smart. Part of me thinks that your innocence should be weighed against how bad of a person you could be. Like if hitler became a dog loving veterinarian instead of being a dictator, i think he would be very innocent. But even more innocent than an unintelligent person who became a veterinarian? What do you think?
