Does anyone know the best best mountains for park near Chambéry, France? And the best mountains for in bounds free ride (and backcountry)?

1h30 away from Chambéry you have Les 3 vallées, La Plagne and La Clusaz. All of them have some very good parks. Les 3 vallées is the biggest ski resort in the world, so you can have some very nice freeride lines there.
But parks in France are usually very slow to be built. Val Thorens and Méribel, two of the best parks in France, only had one big jump last week, and less than a dozen rails. You'll have to settle more for freeriding until mid-february I guess, when parks are getting decent.
